Kitchen Cook

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, particularly in restaurant settings, and will be responsible for cooking food in a bar/restaurant environment which is fast paced and steady busy. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu plans. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including proper food storage practices. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies. Provide support during meal service, ensuring timely delivery of dishes to guests. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques/worked in same industry prior Excellent food handling skills with a focus on safety and sanitation standards. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Strong communication skills and a willingness to help team members as needed. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
