Cook/Dietary Position at Middle River Health and Rehab We are seeking a skilled Cook/Dietary professional to join our team at Middle River Health and Rehab, a leading provider of skilled nursing services in South Range, WI. As a key member of our dietary team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by preparing delicious and nutritious meals. About the
Role:
As a Cook/Dietary, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals to our residents, as well as maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. This is a full-time position that requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve meals to residents, including special diets and requests Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including equipment, utensils, and storage areas Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations Receive and stock inventory of food and supplies Collaborate with dietary team to plan and prepare menus Monitor and control food costs, waste, and inventory levels Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, families, and other staff members
Requirements:
0 years of experience in a related field (training or on-the-job experience will be considered) Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays
