Job Overview:

Trevor Creek Tavern is looking to hire a cook to join our fast-paced team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing ingredients for cooking
• Follow standardized recipes
• Adhere to proper food handling and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
• Assist with ideas for daily specials
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of meal preparation
• Team player to help in all areas of kitchen as needed
• Ability to communicate with staff
• Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment after each use
• Ability to keep busy in down time

Skills:

• Culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members
