Job Summary We are looking for reliable and detail-oriented Sanitors to join our cleaning and sanitation team. In this role, you will be essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across our facilities. Your work helps ensure compliance with safety standards, food safety regulations, and industry best practices. The ideal candidate is proactive, safety-conscious, and experienced in industrial cleaning or custodial work, ready to contribute to a clean and safe workspace. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of production areas, equipment, and facilities using appropriate cleaning agents and techniques. Handle chemical agents safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures and safety protocols. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, and protective clothing to ensure safety during cleaning tasks. Follow strict sanitation standards in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety regulations. Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to cleaning supplies or equipment to support efficient operations. Maintain detailed logs of cleaning activities and report any hazards or maintenance needs promptly. Adhere to respiratory protection protocols when working with airborne chemicals or in confined spaces. Skills Experience in industrial cleaning, custodial work, or food processing environments is preferred. Knowledge of chemical agent handling and chemical handling safety procedures. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Basic math skills for measuring cleaning agents or inventory management. Familiarity with sanitation standards, GMP guidelines, and food safety practices. Strong attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and compliance with safety protocols. Good communication skills for reporting issues and coordinating with team members.
