7/16/2024 As a Porter, your essential job functions include: Being responsible for moving and parking vehicles, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dealership lot, and assisting the service team with various tasks to ensure smooth operations. Responsibilities Move and park vehicles in designated areas in an organized and safe manner. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dealership lot, service bays, and customer waiting areas. Perform basic vehicle checks, such as checking tire pressure and fluid levels. Assist with vehicle deliveries, including preparing vehicles for delivery and ensuring they are presented in pristine condition. Support the service team by retrieving vehicles for customers, transporting vehicles to and from service areas, and assisting with other tasks as needed. Conduct minor vehicle maintenance tasks, such as washing and vacuuming vehicles. Ensure customer satisfaction by providing courteous and prompt service. Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety and health regulations. Report any vehicle damage or operational issues to Management immediately. Other Duties as Assigned Competencies Required Teamwork and Collaboration Customer Focus Communication Skills Process and Planning Orientation Strong attention to detail Position Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Physical Job Requirements Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Must be capable of simple and fine motor hand manipulations. Work in ventilated automotive repair shops, refurbishing facilities, or outdoor. Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles. Drug Policy All applicants being considered for employment must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check. The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and geographic location. The starting compensation is expected to be: $19.00ph/22.00ph We offer a competitive & comprehensive benefit package including: paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and 401k match (50% on the dollar up to 7% of employee contribution).
