Job Description

Connect Staffing is hiring a Sanitation Worker for a beverage manufacturing plant in San Bernardino, CA. This is a temporary assignment paying $19.00/hr on a day shift schedule. In this role, you will clean and sanitize production equipment — including CIP systems, rinsers, and pasteurizers — as well as floors, drains, walls, and ceilings throughout the facility using foam, scrub, and rinse methods.

Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM; Saturdays as needed

Temporary Work Environment:
Food Production Facility Responsibilities Sanitize, foam, scrub, and rinse production equipment including container rinsers, warmers, and pasteurizers to meet food safety and quality standards. Clean and sanitize conveyors, conveying equipment, drip pans, and rails. Clean floors, drains, walls, and ceilings in production and warehouse areas — including cobweb and debris removal. Operate an electric floor scrubber, vacuum, and foam applicator; sweep and mop using manual and power tools. Monitor CIP system printouts and perform chemical concentration testing to verify sanitation effectiveness. Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures when preparing equipment for cleaning, and apply chemicals per label instructions. Minimum Requirements 1+ year of sanitation or janitorial experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or food production environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with CIP (Clean-in-Place) systems in a food or beverage production facility. Familiarity with chemical dilution, foam application, and sanitizer concentration testing. Knowledge of food safety standards such as SQF (Safe Quality Food) or FDA sanitation guidelines. Experience operating electric floor scrubbers or other powered cleaning equipment. Ability to read and follow chemical label instructions and safety data sheets (SDS). Ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety protocols including proper personal protective equipment (PPE) use.
