We are seeking a Truck Washer/Shop Assistant to join our team. The Truck Washer is responsible for cleaning the exterior and interior of trucks and equipment; this involves washing and drying vehicle windows and windshields, cleaning and maintaining the interiors. The Shop assistant is responsible for helping out in the shop for whatever it may need, clean up calls, going on a help route, parts runs, and anything else the shop requires.

Schedule:

Monday - Thursday, 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Friday 10:00 am to 5:30 pm, and Saturday if needed for special projects.

Responsibilities:

Operate hot/cold pressure washer inside the wash bay, washing all types of company vehicles. Scrub stubborn areas of dirt off trucks to make the fleet look good. Wash trucks, compactors, and other pieces of equipment as directed by Fleet Maintenance leadership. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Ability to work closely with others in a team effort to solve problems. Ability to be positive and work in a fast-paced environment. Physical ability to stand, kneel, and sit for long periods, as well as operate power and manual hand tools to wash trucks and equipment. Be able to drive company vehicles on the property to wash throughout the day. Must be able to obtain or have a medical card to drive company vehicles. Must have a valid driver's license. Must have good attention to detail. Applicants must be able to successfully pass physical agility exam and pre-employment drug test.
