Universal Tint Pros is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Automotive Detailer to prepare vehicles for paint protection film (PPF), ceramic coatings, and other services. Deep-cleaning or interior-detailing is not required for this position . The primary focus is exterior vehicle preparation, maintenance washing, paint care, and keeping the shop clean and organized.

Responsibilities include:

Washing and properly preparing vehicles for PPF installations Preparing and decontaminating paint before ceramic coating applications Performing general maintenance washes on customer vehicles Cleaning wheels, glass, trim, and exterior surfaces Safely using detailing chemicals, tools, and equipment Inspecting vehicles and identifying paint defects or areas needing additional attention Polishing and performing light paint correction when required Applying ceramic coatings according to product and quality standards Maintaining clean detailing bays, floors, tools, and shared workspaces Helping keep the entire shop organized and ready for daily operations Experience polishing vehicles is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. You must be comfortable learning proper polishing, paint correction, surface preparation, and ceramic coating application techniques. The ideal candidate is reliable, efficient, willing to learn, and takes pride in producing clean, consistent work. Strong problem-solving skills and integrity are essential. You must be willing to take accountability, communicate honestly about mistakes or concerns, and treat every customer's vehicle with care and respect. Pay will be based on experience, skill level, quality of work, and ability to perform services independently. Schedule is determined by shop workload and candidate initiative.
