The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, and can help ensure every vehicle on our lot is clean, polished, and ready for customers. As a Car Detailer, you will be responsible for cleaning and preparing vehicles inside and out, maintaining the appearance of our inventory, and keeping the detailing and work areas clean and organized. Prior detailing experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. Responsibilities Wash and thoroughly clean vehicle exteriors Vacuum and clean vehicle interiors, including carpets, seats, dashboards, windows, and other surfaces Clean wheels, tires, door jambs, and other detailed areas Polish and prepare vehicles to maintain a professional, showroom-ready appearance Use pressure washers, vacuums, cleaning products, and detailing equipment safely Inspect completed vehicles to ensure they meet our cleanliness and presentation standards Help prepare newly acquired vehicles for the sales lot Maintain a clean and organized detailing area Properly care for and store detailing tools, equipment, and cleaning supplies Follow all workplace and chemical safety procedures Assist with moving vehicles around the dealership when necessary Work efficiently to complete vehicles within expected timeframes Communicate with management regarding vehicles that require additional cleaning or attention Qualifications Previous automotive detailing, car washing, or similar experience is preferred but not required Strong attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday Ability to lift detailing equipment and supplies as needed Comfortable using pressure washers, vacuums, hand tools, and cleaning equipment Positive attitude and willingness to learn Valid driver's license preferred What We're Looking For We want someone who takes pride in making vehicles look their best.
