Detailer / Shop Helper Mundy's Collision Center | Lawrenceville & Buford, GA Full-Time | On-Site About the Role Mundy's Collision Center is a well-established, customer-focused collision repair shop serving the Gwinnett County area. We're looking for a dependable, hard-working Detailer / Shop Helper to join our team. This is a hands-on role that combines vehicle detailing with general shop support — keeping our operation clean, efficient, and running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities Detailing:
Perform thorough interior and exterior cleaning on vehicles after repairs Wash, clay bar, polish, and wax finished vehicles to a showroom-ready standard Clean glass, wheels, tires, trim, and door jambs Vacuum and shampoo interiors including carpets, seats, and floor mats Remove overspray, tape residue, and masking materials from completed repairs Conduct a final quality inspection before vehicles are returned to customers
Shop Support:
Assist technicians and estimators with general shop tasks as needed Move vehicles in and out of the shop and parking areas safely Keep shop floors, wash bays, and work areas clean and organized Dispose of waste materials per shop and environmental guidelines Help with parts runs, supply restocking, or other operational needs Support team during busy periods or special projects Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required) Prior detailing or auto body shop experience a plus — willing to train the right candidate Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout a full shift; lift up to 50 lbs What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience Stable, year-round employment with a reputable local shop Supportive team environment with room to grow Paid time off
