Full Job Description Foreign Affairs of Duluth is a Foreign Car Auto Repair business that has been in business for the past thirty years. We have a great customer base and are seeking a reliable and hardworking Automotive Shop Assistant to support the daily operations of a foreign car auto repair shop. This position works closely with the shop manager, automotive mechanics, and oil service technicians to help maintain an organized, clean, and efficient work environment. The potential to learn about oil change and auto repair will be available to the successful applicant. The job hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm with an hour for lunch. The applicant will earn 2.5 hours per week overtime. The pay is $15.00 per hour and averages out to be $656.25 per week.

Responsibilities:

• Move customer vehicles safely in and out of the repair shop and parking areas.
• Keep garage bays, work areas, and shop floors clean and organized.
• Sort, organize, and store automotive parts and supplies.
• Assist the shop manager with daily tasks as needed.
• Support automotive mechanics and oil technicians with tools, parts, vehicle movement, cleanup, and other general duties.
• Help receive and organize parts and shop supplies.
• Maintain a safe and professional work environment.
• Perform other shop-related duties as assigned.

• Keep the outside yard containing vehicles clean.
• Snow Removal of sidewalks and vehicles Qualifications
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team.
• Comfortable moving and parking a variety of vehicles.
• Able to perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, cleaning, and standing for extended periods.
• Basic knowledge of automobiles is helpful but not required.
• Willingness to learn and assist wherever needed. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys working around vehicles, stays organized, and is willing to help the team wherever needed. Compensation & Benefits
