Mungenast Lexus of St. Louis is hiring a Detailer. The Detailer is responsible for cleaning and refurbishing new and used automobiles.
Other duties include:
Washing vehicle exterior, cleaning interior and exterior windows, and wiping down doorjambs. Applying wax to auto body and wiping or buffing surface. Vacuuming interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris. Cleaning upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices. Applying revitalizers and preservation agents to interior vinyl or leather surfaces and treating fabrics with spot‐ and stain‐resistant chemicals. Cleaning engine and engine compartment with steam‐cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents. Inspecting vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation. Restoring appearance of engine area, rugs and upholstery, and painted surfaces. Using touch‐up paint, dyes, and other appropriate materials. Using proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection. Applying dressing on tires and tire wells. Removing all window stickers on sold vehicles. Ensuring deliveries are cleaned properly and timely. Operating all tools and equipment in a safe manner. Reporting any safety issues immediately to management. Maintaining a professional appearance. Maintaining a clean and professional work environment. Performing other duties as assigned. Pay is $20 per hour. This job is scheduled on a 4-day work week! Although Saturdays are required, every three weeks you get Friday through Tuesday off!
