Automotive Detailer Tint World 191 Paramus, NJ Job Details Full-time | Contract $18 - $30 an hour 16 hours ago Benefits Free parking 401(k) 401(k) matching Employee discount Retirement plan Qualifications Chemical handling safety procedures Equipment safety procedures Maintaining an organized workspace Heavy lifting Pressure washing Automotive polishing Sanitation In-person customer service Chemical handling Restoration Cleaning (upholstery maintenance) Company vehicle operation Window tinting Vehicle detailing polishers Manual transmission Polishing Entry level Under 1 year Full Job Description Overview Duties Perform exterior washing, vehicle paint correction, and automotive buffing to restore vehicles' shine and finish- Both for preparation or as its own service Interior detailing including vacuuming, upholstery cleaning, window tinting, and dashboard polishing Operate standard passenger cars with safety and precision, adhering to safe work practices at all times Use specialized cleaning equipment such as automotive buffers, polishers, and janitorial tools to achieve optimal results Maintain vehicle exterior cleanliness by washing, drying, and applying Ceramic coatings as needed Assist with heavy lifting tasks involving equipment or vehicles to ensure efficient workflow and safety compliance Follow auto detailing facility procedures to ensure a clean, organized workspace that promotes vehicle quality and safety Experience Prior experience in auto detailing or auto wash facilities is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Familiarity with vehicle paint correction, buffing techniques, and automotive cleaning processes is a plus Knowledge of safe work practices related to handling cleaning chemicals and operating equipment such as buffers and pressure washers Experience with custodial or janitorial tasks demonstrates attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards Ability to operate manual transmissions in vehicles is advantageous for moving cars within the facility Strong customer service skills are desirable for engaging with clients about their vehicle care needs Physical capability for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing detailed work efficiently Join us to elevate vehicle presentation standards while building your skills in a supportive, energetic environment!
