Job Description
Shift 8 am - 5 pm, Monday-Saturday Expanded hours will be available in the near future as well as rotating shifts. Descriptive Summary All detailers will clean vehicles according to company standards or client specifications, which may include performing detail inspections, thoroughly washing, buffing, and ceramic exteriors, vacuuming, steaming, and deodorizing interiors. A Detailer 3 is an advanced-level position and requires no management review or inspection of all work performed after completion of 30-days training period. Any Ceramic detailers will need to be certified within 30 days of hire. Performance is at a premium level meeting company quality standards every time. Key Performance Indicators Measurable tasks that are key to indicate the performance level in this role: Clean interior and exterior of the vehicle to Ziebart® quality standards Steam the engine compartment of vehicles. Apply ceramic coating to exterior of the vehicle. Apply polish to chrome and rims on vehicle. Cleans headlights, brake lights, and taillights. Core Functions List the core functions of the position: Shampoos carpets and upholstery. Vacuums floors and seats. Cleans and vacuums the trunk. Cleans out ashtrays and cup holders. Cleans and conditions vinyl and leather. Cleans all trash, debris, and dirt from the interior of the vehicle. Cleans instrument panels. Cleans all dirt, grease, and tar from the exterior of the vehicle. Reconditions the vehicle's exterior which includes trim, molding and chrome surfaces. Cleans all glass on the vehicle, inside and out, with the appropriate type of rag and cleaning solution. Cleans all mirrors. Steams the engine. Removes grease from the engine and other parts under the hood. Waxes and buffs vehicles after washing. Applies chemicals to surfaces to protect against spots and stains. Dries floor mats. Cleans and polishes wheel rims.
