Shop Helper - Glenns European Auto Repair (GEAR) Glenns European Auto Repair (GEAR) is looking for a dependable, motivated Shop Helper to join our team. We are a European auto repair shop looking for someone who is willing to learn, enjoys working around cars, and can help keep our shop running efficiently. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in the automotive industry who wants to gain hands-on experience and learn from experienced technicians. Pay $18-$22 per hour , depending on experience and qualifications. Responsibilities Assist automotive technicians with various shop tasks Help keep the shop clean, organized, and safe Pick up and deliver automotive parts from local suppliers Pick up and deliver customer vehicles when needed Perform quality-control checks on customer vehicles after repairs are completed Help move vehicles around the property and prepare them for customers Check vehicles for cleanliness and ensure they are ready for delivery Assist with basic automotive-related tasks as directed by technicians Help with general shop duties and maintenance Provide a professional and courteous experience when interacting with customers Follow all shop safety procedures and company policies What We're Looking For Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic Valid driver's license and a good driving record Comfortable driving customer vehicles and company vehicles Willingness to learn and take direction Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail Professional, responsible, and customer-service oriented Basic knowledge or interest in automobiles is a plus Previous automotive shop experience is helpful, but not required Why Join GEAR?
