Here's what you'll be doing: Wash vehicle exteriors using cleaning solution, water, cloths and brushes Apply wax to auto body and wipe or buff surfaces to protect surfaces and preserve shine using cloth or buffing machine Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices. Vacuum interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris using a vacuum cleaner Apply revitalizer and preservatives to vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot and stain resistant chemicals to preserve and protect interior components Apply special purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which do not respond to normal cleaning procedures, utilizing experience and following recommendations of product manufacturer Clean engine and engine compartment with steam cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents to remove grease and grime Apply paint to chipped body surfaces of vehicle Apply dyes and reconditioning chemical to vinyl tops of vehicle to restore color and condition Other duties as assigned Here's what you'll need: Prior detailer or car wash experience preferred Must be 18 years or older and be authorized to work in the U.S Valid in-state driver's license Ability to read and comprehend job related instructions and information Excellent manual dexterity skills as well as patience and an eye for detail Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role We are an Equal Opportunity Employer (( We Hear You ))
