Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Cook/Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including cooking stations, utensils, and equipment. Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen items to ensure compliance with health standards. Assist with food handling and storage to minimize waste and ensure freshness. Help with bussing tables during peak hours to support the dining room staff. Collaborate with kitchen staff during banquets or special events to ensure timely food service. Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines in the kitchen environment. Experience Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is essential. Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other staff members. A willingness to learn new techniques and improve cooking skills is highly valued.
