About This Job Join George's Breakfast and Brunch — Chandler as a Dishwasher and be a reliable part of a fast-moving, morning-focused kitchen. This entry-level, part-time, onsite role is ideal for early risers, students, or anyone starting in hospitality. You will help keep service running smoothly by ensuring all dishware, glassware, and cookware are clean, sanitized, and ready for every busy breakfast and brunch shift. This position offers a steady morning schedule, hands-on experience in a high-volume comfort-food kitchen, and a supportive team environment with clear paths for learning and advancement .

Responsibilities Key responsibilities:

Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently to clean plates, utensils, glassware, and cookware. Pre-rinse, scrape and sort dishes, and hand-wash items as required. Maintain sanitation standards by properly chemical-treating and storing cleaned items. Keep dish area, walk-in, and prep zones clean and organized — sweep, mop, and empty trash as needed. Assist kitchen team with basic prep, restocking supplies, and rotating inventory during slower periods. Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures and report equipment issues promptly. Work reliably during scheduled morning and weekend shifts and support the team during peak service times.

Requirements Required qualifications:

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs safely. Reliable punctuality and dependable transportation to the Chandler location. Availability for early-morning shifts and weekend availability. Basic English communication to follow directions and safety instructions. Willingness to work onsite in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Preferred qualifications:

Previous experience in a restaurant dishwasher or kitchen support role. Food handler certification or basic knowledge of sanitation practices (ServSafe a plus). Experience working in a high-volume breakfast/brunch service. Positive attitude, strong team orientation, and interest in cross-training to other kitchen roles.
