About Malendrina Malendrina is a neighborhood wine bar inspired by the flavors, wines, and traditions of Southern Italy. Position Summary We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Dishwasher to join our back-of-house team. This role is essential to keeping the kitchen running efficiently by ensuring all dishes, glassware, cookware, and kitchen equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and organized. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining a clean workspace, works well under pressure, and enjoys being part of a collaborative team. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish station throughout each shift. Empty trash and recycling as needed. Sweep and mop kitchen floors throughout service and at closing. Keep sinks, drains, and dishwashing equipment clean and functioning properly. Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries when needed. Support cooks with basic food prep or kitchen tasks as assigned. Maintain clean storage areas and properly organize all kitchen equipment. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards. Work efficiently during busy service while maintaining a positive attitude. Assist with opening and closing cleaning duties. Qualifications No previous experience required—training will be provided. Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
