Dishwasher Colossus Bread Long Beach, CA Job Details Part-time From $20 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Employee discount Qualifications Sweeping Dishwashing Sanitation Bussing Mopping Full Job Description The dishwasher is in charge of maintaining the cleanliness and organization of of all dishes, washable wares/equipment , dry dish area, dish washing area , and many other areas of the store.

The dishwasher will work under the direct supervision of the kitchen manager and general manager, and will be indirectly supervised other department leads

Compensation :

$20/hr + Tips Expectations of employee: Maintain professionalism in all interactions with coworkers and supervisors and guests Be ready to work when your shift starts Be on time for all shifts / communicate with supervisors using proper procedure if you are running late for a shift Follow all policies laid out in the company handbook ( including: dress code & procedure for calling out of a shift etc…) Work diligently and with a sense of urgency Maintain a clean and sanitary work area Follow health department guidelines for properly washing dishes Follow training and best practices set up by management Use dishwashing and other shop equipment safely and correctly Treat all equipment and wares with respect and avoid breaking items as much as possible Utilize best safety practices ask for help with heavy items that cannot be moved safely alone let people know when you are walking by with sharp or hot equipment Take breaks as required by law Safely use and operate equipment ask for assistance if unsure

Job Requirements:

Be able to stand with for an entire 8 hour shift ( with the exception of breaks) Be able to lift up to 50lbs without assistance Working with chemicals and detergents Duties & responsibilities: Wash all store dishes(including: pots,pans, sheet trays, large mixing bowls etc…) , baking , kitchen and front of house equipment by hand / or using dishwashing machine Sweep and mop floors Clean floor floor drains Take out trash and recycling Break down boxes Clean and dust walls and other areas of the shop Hose off floor mats Maintain clean trash receptacles Maintain cleanliness & organization of dry dish area Maintain cleanliness & organization of dirty dish area Clean and scrub high traffic floor areas Wipe down baseboards Help receive and put away orders Close down dish area at end of day using closing checklists
