Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Prep Cook to join our culinary team. As a Prep Cook, you will be responsible for assisting in meal preparation and ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen. Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables, and measuring ingredients
• Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to prepare meals according to established standards
• Operate kitchen equipment such as knives, slicers, mixers and hot water machine
• Assist in the cooking of various dishes under the supervision of the Chef or Head Cook
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service
• Help with inventory management and stock rotation

Experience:

• Previous experience working in a culinary or food preparation role is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of basic food handling and preparation techniques
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
