We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Dishwasher / Restaurant Cleaner to support daily operations at our sushi restaurant. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen, main bar area, and restrooms to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for staff and guests.

Responsibilities:

Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment Keep the dishwashing station clean and organized Clean and sanitize kitchen and food prep areas Clean and maintain the main bar area, including countertops and floors Clean and restock restrooms according to health and sanitation standards Take out trash and recycling regularly Mop floors and wipe down surfaces throughout the restaurant Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines Assist kitchen and front-of-house staff with cleaning needs during and after service

Qualifications:

No prior experience required (restaurant or janitorial experience is a plus) Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs Strong attention to cleanliness and sanitation Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
