Duties Efficiently wash, scrub, rinse, and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools using proper food safety sanitizing procedures. Ability to work efficiently in a team-based environment that can be fast paced. Follow all sanitation protocols to maintain a hygienic kitchen environment in compliance with health regulations. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of large pots, trays, or bulk supplies. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for food service operations. Experience Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Basic knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is an advantage. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing throughout shifts. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting busy kitchen environments. Culinary or kitchen experience that demonstrates attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
