Must be able to work Friday 6pm-10pm, Saturday 5pm-10pm, Sunday 3pm-10pm. In this role, you will be the backbone of our kitchen operations, ensuring a clean, organized environment while assisting with food preparation and meal assembly. Duties Thoroughly wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, assembling ingredients, and portioning meals. Support the kitchen team in maintaining an organized work area, including cleaning counters, sinks, and storage spaces. Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures to ensure hygiene and prevent cross-contamination. Help with meal assembly and plating under supervision, ensuring presentation meets quality standards. Manage waste disposal efficiently and keep dishwashing stations stocked with necessary supplies. Collaborate with dietary aides and culinary staff to support menu preparation and catering needs. Requirements Previous experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with food handling, safety procedures, and kitchen sanitation practices. Basic cooking skills including knife handling, meal preparation, and food industry knowledge. Experience in restaurant or catering environments is advantageous. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
