Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards while supporting the kitchen staff in food preparation and service. This position is essential for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized promptly, contributing to the overall success of our food service operations. Must be fluent in Spanish. Duties Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure that all items are properly stored after cleaning. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients. Support the kitchen staff by bussing tables and clearing away used dishes during service. Participate in maintaining kitchen cleanliness by sweeping floors, taking out trash, and cleaning surfaces. Help with banquet setups and breakdowns as required during events. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Skills Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong cleaning skills with an understanding of proper cleaning techniques for various kitchen equipment. Experience in culinary settings such as hotels or catering services is a plus. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team. Flexibility to assist with various tasks including cooking, serving, and food preparation as needed.
