Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dishwasher, where your role is vital in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support food service operations across various settings, including restaurants, hotels, catering events, and banquet halls. As a Dishwasher, you will be the backbone of our kitchen, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are spotless and ready for use. Your energetic attitude and attention to detail will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Responsibilities Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual methods. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all surfaces are sanitized regularly to meet health standards. Assist with food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or portioning ingredients when needed. Support the kitchen team in bussing tables and clearing plates during busy service times to ensure smooth operations. Help with basic food handling duties following safety and hygiene protocols to prevent contamination. Support catering and banquet setups by organizing serving ware and ensuring all necessary items are clean and ready. Follow proper waste disposal procedures and recycling guidelines to promote an environmentally friendly workspace. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential. Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and food safety standards. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency. Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as dishwashers or sinks is a plus; training will be provided if needed. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues in fast-paced settings. Experience in catering, banquet service, or hotel food operations is advantageous but not mandatory. Commitment to maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment aligned with hospitality industry standards.
