This role is vital in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient food service environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, food handling, and culinary support, with experience in restaurant, catering, or hotel settings preferred. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning food items Support bussing duties by clearing tables and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas Help with basic kitchen cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and trash disposal Prepare ingredients for cooking or plating as directed by kitchen staff Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure health and safety compliance Assist with catering setups and banquet service as needed Maintain organization of dishware and kitchen supplies to support efficient workflow Requirements Prior experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong teamwork skills and willingness to assist others in the kitchen Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends or evenings if necessary Basic culinary skills such as food preparation or cooking experience are advantageous but not mandatory Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads (up to 50 pounds) This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in hospitality or culinary careers to gain hands-on experience supporting a dynamic team.
