Job Summary:

We are seeking a Food Preparation Worker to join our team. In this role, you will assist in the preparation and cooking of food items, ensuring that all meals are prepared according to recipes and dietary requirements. Duties:

• Assist in the preparation of food items, such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring ingredients
• Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistent quality and taste
• Cook food items as directed by the chef or kitchen supervisor
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
• Assist with menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes
• Help with catering events and special functions as needed
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a food service or cook role is preferred
• Knowledge of menu planning and food preparation techniques
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
• Familiarity with dietary requirements and restrictions is a plus
• Proficiency with knives and other kitchen tools
