Bypass dishes and serve as a busser to clear tables and support food service operations during busy periods. Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly, including dishwashers, mixers, and other small appliances. Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, or waste disposal in accordance with safety guidelines. Support the team during banquet or event setups by organizing supplies and maintaining cleanliness throughout service. Requirements Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key! Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation procedures to uphold hygiene standards. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including lifting heavy items regularly. Basic knife skills for assisting with food prep tasks when needed. Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as dishwashers and food prep tools. Understanding of kitchen health and safety standards to maintain a safe work environment. Experience with food safety management systems or protocols is a plus.
