This position is essential to keeping our kitchen clean, organized, stocked, and ready to provide great food and service to our customers. The ideal candidate works well in a fast-paced environment, follows directions, maintains high cleanliness standards, and is willing to assist with basic food-preparation tasks as needed. Responsibilities Wash, rinse, sanitize, and properly store dishes, pots, pans, utensils, trays, and kitchen equipment Keep the dishwashing area clean, safe, organized, and stocked with needed supplies Sweep, mop, take out trash, and help maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen and back-of-house areas Assist cooks and kitchen staff with basic food preparation, including washing and cutting vegetables, portioning ingredients, preparing sauces, and assembling simple items Label, date, and properly store food items according to food-safety procedures Restock clean dishes, utensils, containers, and kitchen supplies Help receive, organize, and put away deliveries when needed Follow all company policies, food-safety requirements, sanitation procedures, and supervisor instructions Work cooperatively with kitchen and front-of-house team members Perform other cleaning and kitchen-support duties as assigned Qualifications Previous dishwasher, kitchen helper, food prep, restaurant, or cleaning experience is preferred but not required Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work scheduled shifts Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry up to 40-50 pounds Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment Must be able to follow food-safety and sanitation guidelines Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays is a plus Must have reliable transportation What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience Flexible scheduling for qualified candidates Meal discounts Opportunity to grow into prep cook, line cook, or other kitchen positions Supportive team environment Schedule Day and/or evening shifts available Weekend availability preferred Full-time and part-time opportunities may be available
