In person Job Summary The Falls at Blue Ridge is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. This position is essential to the success of our restaurant by ensuring that all dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized to the highest standards. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized work environment and is willing to assist the kitchen team as needed in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing equipment. Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized, and stocked throughout each shift. Sweep and mop kitchen floors and maintain cleanliness in work areas. Remove trash and recycling, and keep waste disposal areas clean. Assist the kitchen team with basic food preparation, such as washing and peeling vegetables or preparing ingredients as needed. Clean and properly store all kitchen equipment after use. Monitor cleaning supplies and notify management when inventory is running low. Support cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations during busy service periods. Follow all health, food safety, and sanitation regulations. Perform additional cleaning and kitchen support duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling practices is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
