Support the culinary team in meal assembly and plating to ensure timely service. Operate kitchen equipment safely, including dishwashers, slicers, mixers, and other small appliances. Maintain a clean work environment by adhering to food safety protocols and cleaning schedules throughout shifts. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate food prep activities and ensure smooth workflow. Follow all safety standards in production areas, including proper food handling techniques and sanitation practices. Qualifications Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential! Experience in food service or restaurant environments demonstrating familiarity with kitchen operations. Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production. Basic culinary skills such as knife handling, slicing techniques, and meal preparation are highly desirable. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining high cleanliness standards. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and support team goals.
