The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our kitchen environment. This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in hospitality, food handling, and restaurant operations, supporting the overall efficiency of our culinary team. Prior experience in food service, catering, or hospitality is a plus but not required. The Dishwasher will ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized to uphold health and safety standards. Responsibilities Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas throughout shifts Assist with bussing tables and clearing food service areas as needed Support food preparation tasks such as basic chopping or assembling ingredients when required Ensure proper handling and storage of clean items to prevent cross-contamination Follow all safety protocols related to food handling and sanitation standards Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods Assist with catering setups or banquet services when necessary Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory Knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards in a commercial kitchen setting Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude Basic understanding of food handling safety practices Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads (up to 40 pounds) Join our team to contribute to a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment while gaining valuable experience in the hospitality industry.
