Responsibilities Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures Assist with food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies and basic ingredient handling under supervision Clear and reset tables promptly to ensure a clean and welcoming dining space for guests Support bussing duties by removing used dishes, trash, and linens from tables and kitchen areas Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly, adhering to all sanitation standards and health regulations Handle manual tasks including heavy lifting of trays, boxes, or supplies with proper technique to prevent injury Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing station, kitchen floors, bathrooms and dining areas in compliance with sanitation standards Experience Previous food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key Familiarity with food handling, sanitation practices, and kitchen health and safety standards is advantageous Experience in restaurant environments or banquet settings can be a plus but is not mandatory Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including lifting heavy loads regularly during shifts Knowledge of food safety management principles ensures adherence to hygiene protocols at all times This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in a dynamic restaurant setting.
