SUMMARY:

Maintaining kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition. Light facility cleaning and maintenance as needed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Washes pots, pans, and trays in three compartment sink. Washes dirty dishes glasses, and silverware from catering events by hand or places them in dishwashing machine racks

• weekly/bi-weekly.

Sweeps and mops kitchen floors. Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, etc. Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers. Cleans or hoses out garbage cans. Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas. Light food preparation skills are a plus, primarily produce peeling and cutting, but are not required Loads or unloads trucks picking up or delivering supplies and food. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

No prior experience or training. Able to work in a team environment and take direction. Able to work calmly and effectively under pressure. Able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for entire shift. Able to maintain balance, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, and wipe.
