Job Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or Dishwasher, where your energy and dedication will help create exceptional dining experiences. Duties Assist with meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients according to menu specifications Cook and plate dishes efficiently while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation Support kitchen operations by cleaning and sanitizing workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards Manage dishwashing responsibilities to ensure all cookware, utensils, and dishes are spotless and ready for use Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and prevent cross-contamination Aid in inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying staff of stock levels or shortages Contribute to menu planning by suggesting ingredient combinations or new dish ideas based on culinary experience Skills Prior experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential Strong food preparation and cooking skills with an understanding of basic culinary techniques Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling practices Experience in food service environments such as restaurants or catering is highly desirable Excellent knife skills for efficient ingredient prep and meal assembly Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced kitchen setting Familiarity with meal planning, food industry standards, and kitchen equipment operation This position offers an energetic environment where your contributions directly impact guest satisfaction.
