Job Description
Join the Campbellsville University Dining Hall team as a Dishwasher, where you play an essential role in supporting daily meal service and catering operations through cleanliness, organization, and food safety. Responsibilities Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to health and safety standards. Support catering and banquet service by ensuring all service ware is clean, stocked, and ready for use. Maintain a clean and organized dish area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces. Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to prevent cross-contamination. Assist kitchen staff during peak service times to ensure timely flow of clean dishes. Perform general cleaning duties across kitchen and dining areas as needed. Requirements Food service, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred but not required—training provided. Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically active tasks. Basic understanding of cleanliness and food safety practices is helpful. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organization. Team-oriented with a positive, reliable work ethic. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
