Job Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dishwasher, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. Duties Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures. Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations. Clear and bus tables promptly during service to maintain a clean dining environment. Follow proper manual handling techniques when lifting heavy pots, trays, or boxes to ensure safety. Operate kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, sinks, and cleaning tools safely and correctly. Maintain sanitation standards by regularly cleaning workstations, floors, and storage areas in accordance with health and safety regulations. Support the kitchen team with general cleaning duties to uphold kitchen health and safety standards. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued! Knowledge of food safety management and sanitation practices is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently. Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment are advantageous. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Prior experience with catering or banquet settings is beneficial but not essential.
