This is a hands-on role that combines kitchen prep, dishwashing, cleaning, and general kitchen support. Position Summary As a Dishwasher & Prep Cook, you'll play a critical role in keeping our kitchen running efficiently and safely. You'll ensure dishes, cookware, utensils, and food preparation areas remain clean and organized while assisting with basic food prep and ingredient preparation. Your work supports every meal we serve and helps create a great dining experience for our guests. What You'll Do- Dishwashing & Sanitation Wash, clean, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment. Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish station, kitchen, storage areas, and walk-in cooler. Remove trash and recycling and keep waste areas clean and orderly. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines. Food Preparation Prepare ingredients according to recipes and café standards. Wash, chop, slice, portion, and label food items. Assist with sandwich preparation, salads, soups, breakfast items, and catering orders. Stock and rotate inventory using FIFO procedures. Help maintain proper food temperatures and storage practices. Team Support Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment. Assist cooks and kitchen staff as needed during service. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
