Duties Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, and disposing of waste. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients for cooking. Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all necessary items are clean and ready for service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth workflow during busy service times. Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times. Assist with bussing tables when necessary to maintain a clean dining environment. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is a plus. Experience in banquet service or catering is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
