Support the cleaning and organization of kitchen stations, including counters, storage areas, and refrigeration units. Busing tables and clearing plates to ensure a clean dining environment and efficient service flow. Operate basic kitchen equipment safely, including dishwashers, slicers, mixers, and other small appliances. Follow all food safety management protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure proper handling of food products. Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as moving supplies or bulk ingredients while adhering to manual handling safety standards. Qualifications Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential. Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and sanitation standards in a commercial kitchen setting. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including lifting heavy loads when necessary. Basic knife skills and familiarity with operating kitchen equipment are advantageous. Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and adherence to kitchen health and safety standards. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
