Job Summary Become a part of our caring community The Senior Accountant, General Accounting - Cash Reconciliations & Cash Operations is responsible for performing and supporting enterprise cash reconciliation processes while contributing to initiatives that impact cash activities across key functions, including Accounts Payable (AP), premium receipts, claims disbursements, and related operations. This role ensures the accurate, timely, and well-controlled reconciliation of cash-related accounts while partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen financial controls, enhance operational effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement. Reporting to the Associate Director of General Accounting, you will lead and support initiatives involving process optimization, system enhancements, implementations, integrations, automation, and policy updates that improve cash operations across the organization. Main Responsibilities Contribute to month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities related to cash and balance sheet accounts. Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving outstanding items promptly. Lead and support accounting and cash operations initiatives, including process improvements, system enhancements, implementations, integrations, automation efforts, policy updates, and organizational change management activities. Develop project plans, manage timelines, coordinate stakeholders, and drive accountability for project deliverables Reconcile high-volume cash activity, including: Accounts Payable disbursements Premium billing and cash receipts Claims payments and related clearing accounts Monitor aged reconciling items and escalate issues to management. Partner with teams, including AP, Billing, Claims, Treasury, and IT, to research discrepancies and improve cash-related processes. Support process improvement projects focused on automation, standardization, and enhanced reporting dashboards. Ensure compliance with internal controls, Model Audit Rule (MAR) requirements, and audit readiness expectations. Prepare reconciliation documentation and support internal and external audit requests. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards that provide visibility into reconciliation status, exceptions, and important cash metrics. Use your skills to make an impact Required Qualifications 3+ years of progressive accounting, reconciliation, or financial reporting experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Experience preparing and reviewing complex balance sheet reconciliations. Experience with month end close Experience supporting process improvement and automation projects. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with accounting systems. Preferred Qualifications

CPA, CPA

candidate, or equivalent professional certification. Cash account reconciliation experience. Experience working with large data sets Experience with BlackLine, Power BI, or similar financial reporting and reconciliation tools. Experience leading process improvement, automation, or system implementation projects. Experience in healthcare, insurance, or managed care environments Knowledge of premium billing, claims payment cycles, treasury operations, or cash management processes.
