Job Description
Job Overview We are a small family run restaraunt looking for experinced line cooks, that can handle fast paced kitchens. We are a breakfast restaraunt so being able to wake up early, and be on time is very important. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality. Operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, fryers, and slicers. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety and sanitation standards. Handle food with care, adhering to proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service. Follow safety protocols during food production to create a safe working environment for everyone. Experience Previous experience in a food service or restaurant setting is highly desirable. Demonstrated skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and knife handling are essential. Familiarity with food safety management systems and adherence to safety standards in production is required. Experience with recipe adherence, meal preparation, and catering operations will strengthen your application. Strong communication skills within the kitchen team are vital for smooth operations.
