Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors using appropriate floor care equipment, including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning techniques. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures across all areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Dust surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and equipment to maintain a dust-free environment. Clean surfaces such as countertops, windows, walls, and appliances using suitable cleaning detergents. Handle laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms as needed. Use manual handling techniques safely when lifting heavy objects or moving cleaning supplies and equipment. Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas when required by performing sweeping or trash removal duties. Communicate effectively with clients or team members regarding specific cleaning needs or issues. Manage time efficiently to complete daily cleaning schedules within designated timeframes. Operate various cleaning equipment safely and properly to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. Experience Prior custodial or residential housekeeping experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, and sanitation standards is advantageous. Experience with cleaning detergents and disinfectants ensures proper handling and application. Knowledge of outdoor work safety procedures is a plus for those involved in exterior cleaning tasks. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently are essential. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration are highly valued.
