Full-Time | Day Shift, 6:00 AM-2:00 PM | Every Other Weekend Required Position Summary Dionne Commons Assisted Living is seeking a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our Food Services team. The Dishwasher is responsible for ensuring that dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized while helping maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen and dining environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, works well as part of a team, and takes pride in keeping the kitchen running efficiently. Essential Responsibilities Wash, rinse, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment. Operate the commercial dishwasher and other kitchen equipment safely and properly. Maintain clean and organized dishwashing and kitchen areas throughout the shift. Sweep and mop kitchen and dishwashing areas as needed. Empty trash and recycling and maintain appropriate waste disposal procedures. Clean and sanitize sinks, counters, floors, and other assigned areas. Assist with keeping kitchen equipment and food preparation areas clean and sanitary. Return clean dishes, utensils, and equipment to their proper locations. Assist Food Services staff with basic kitchen duties as needed. Follow all food safety, sanitation, infection-control, and workplace safety procedures. Report equipment problems, maintenance concerns, or supply shortages to the appropriate supervisor. Maintain a professional and respectful attitude when interacting with residents, staff, families, and visitors. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous dishwasher, kitchen, food service, or commercial cleaning experience preferred, but not required. Dependable and punctual with a strong attendance record. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Ability to work independently while also being a dependable member of the Food Services team. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to cleanliness and sanitation. Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling. Must be available to work 6:00 AM-2:00 PM . Must be willing and able to work every other weekend .
