Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools following food safety sanitizing procedures. Support the cleaning and organization of kitchen stations to uphold sanitation standards and prevent cross-contamination. Help with bussing tables and clearing dining areas during service hours to ensure a smooth flow of operations. Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly, including dishwashers and other cleaning machinery. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of large pots or crates of supplies while adhering to proper lifting techniques. Follow all health and safety standards related to sanitation, food handling, and kitchen safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Requirements Prior experience in food service or hospitality is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is key. Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation procedures. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting when necessary. Familiarity with operating basic kitchen equipment such as dishwashers and cleaning tools.
