Utility Contracting is seeking a full-time General Laborer, preferrably with a Class A CDL who is interested in building a long-term career in the telecommunications industry.

Holland and surrounding area Duties include but are not limited to: Assist in loading, unloading and transporting equipment and supplies needed to complete the job Hand dig with shovels, post hole diggers and picks to expose current underground utilities Place conduit/cable, or pipe in trenches; Splice conduit sections; Install couplers, place anchors, peds and vaults, ect. to complete construction tasks Complete job site clean-up, refill holes, trenches and compact soil. Ensure that shrubs, plants, flowers and landscapre is left in like condition Must be willing to work in all types of climates, temperatures and seasons of weather Always demonstrate good judgement in safety Work as a team with crew foreman and other members of the crew Qualifications Walk 6-12 hours per day Be able to lift & carry up to 50lbs Be willing & able to perform all physical tasks required to complete task at hand Clean & insurable driving record Willingness to work overtime and to travel (per diem is provided when traveling) Benefits 100% company paid premium medical coverage 401(k) Retirement Program Life Insurance Dental Insurance offered Vision Insurance offered Short & Long Term Disability offered Paid Time Off Referral Program Employee Assistance Program
