Strange Matter is seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Part-Time Dishwasher & Kitchen Support. This role is the backbone of our kitchen, ensuring our team has the clean tools and organized space needed to produce the high-quality, from-scratch coffee and bakery items our community loves. If you take pride in your work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do (Responsibilities): Wash by hand to efficiently clean all dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment to the highest standards. Assist with receiving and unloading truck deliveries, ensuring items are stored properly. Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning floor drains, and maintaining overall kitchen cleanliness. Contribute to scheduled deep cleaning projects within the kitchen. Support the kitchen team with other tasks as needed to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

Schedule & Availability:

Shift:

6:00 AM - 2:00 PM daily.

Availability:

Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and some holidays.

Please Note:

This shift time is not flexible. From May through mid-August, shifts may occasionally end earlier (around noon). What We're Looking For (Qualifications): At least 1 year of experience in a commercial kitchen or fast-casual environment is preferred. Punctual and reliable, with the ability to consistently work early morning shifts. Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for the duration of a shift. A positive attitude, high energy, and a genuine desire to be part of a collaborative team. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Must be at least 18 years of age.
