Job Description
Grand Traverse Area Catholic Schools is seeking a dependable and team-oriented Cafeteria Dishwasher to support our Immaculate Conception Elementary School kitchen operations. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient food service environment for students and staff.
- Wash and sanitize dishes, trays, utensils, and kitchen tools using a commercial dish machine
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas
- Assist with general kitchen cleaning duties
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Support cafeteria staff with basic kitchen tasks, including serving pre-Kindergarten students in classrooms
- Provide friendly, respectful service to students and staff
- Ensure compliance with regulations
- Support special events, feast days, or themed meal days, as needed
