Duties Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and plating ingredients for service. Support catering and banquet setups by organizing supplies and ensuring timely delivery of prepared items. Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas, including counters, floors, and storage spaces. Buss tables and clear dishes during service to ensure a smooth flow in the dining area. Follow proper food handling procedures to meet safety regulations and quality standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to support food service operations during busy periods or special events. Experience Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, especially in food service or catering environments. Familiarity with kitchen equipment, cleaning procedures, and food handling safety protocols. Experience working in banquet settings or hotel food service is a plus. Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation practices is beneficial. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary operations. Prior experience in bussing or supporting food service teams enhances your fit for this role.
